Number 6 Market Square is a 13th-century building featuring a local bond front made of vitreous headers with red brick dressings. It stands three storeys tall and has a parapet with moulded stone coping that screens the roof. The façade includes six sash windows with glazing bars, which are flush set in moulded frames and positioned under flat arches. The second floor has sunk window aprons and three blind windows filled with chequer brick, while the first floor has two similar blind windows. The 19th-century shop front is adorned with Corinthian pilasters and a bay window. Numbers 2 to 6 (even) form a group with Number 50 High Street.
