Description

This is a house, originally built in the early 18th century, with significant alterations to the front facade in the late 18th century. It is divided into three distinct sections. The south section is two storeys high and has a plaster facade with long-and-short quoins. It features one window on the ground floor, which is a sashed bay window with a moulded wooden cornice, and one window on the first floor, a Yorkshire light. The central section is three storeys high and constructed of red brick with stone dressings and a parapet concealing a steep tiled roof. Three windows are set in deep, plain reveals. A six-panel door is set within panelled reveals, topped by an elaborate fanlight framed by a pediment and plain pilasters. The north section is two storeys of red brick with moulded wooden eaves and a steep tiled roof with a gabled dormer. One window is present on each floor, set in slightly recessed frames. The building is part of a group that includes numbers 89 to 105 (odd) on Dunstable Street.
