Description

Houghton Hall is a late 17th century building constructed of red brick. It has two storeys and attics, topped with a hipped Welsh slate roof featuring gabled dormers. The entrance front is characterized by five sash windows with glazing bars and a modillion eaves cornice. A 19th century canopied doorway is supported by Doric columns. The interior boasts fine bolection moulded panelling, which is largely original.
