Description

The Old School and School House are a National School built in 1852. The school house is a two-storey structure of coursed limestone rubble. It has a three-bay front with a gabled stone porch. The roof is gabled and covered with fishscale tiles, with small bargeboarded gables over the first-floor windows, which contain two-light casements. A single-storey school room forms a rear wing, also with a matching tiled roof. The school room has been recently modernised, with a new floor and two gabled dormers inserted. It features three-light wood mullion and transomed windows and a gabled stone porch.
