Description

This building, at 121-125 High Street, is a house dating to circa 1850, originally used as estate cottages. It is constructed of colourwashed coursed limestone rubble, with some brick detailing, and has an old clay tile roof. The rectangular building is arranged over two storeys. The front elevation features four first-floor casement windows and three ground-floor windows, each with wooden lintels. The right-hand ground-floor window is a sash. A recessed door, sheltered by a flat hood, is located to the left of the windows. The rear elevation has three former front doors, two of which are now blocked, four first-floor casement windows, and three ground-floor casements with cambered brick heads. A single-storey extension, built with stone and a corrugated iron roof, adjoins the west gable end.
