Description
No. 93 High Street is a house dating from 1777, as indicated by the datestone in the west gable apex. It is constructed of colourwashed coursed limestone rubble, featuring some false ashlar scribing. The roof is made of Welsh slate and has brick stacks on stone-coped gables. The building has an L-plan with a rear wing on the east side and stands two storeys high.
The front elevation includes two sash windows with glazing bars on the first floor and a three-light casement window on the right side. On the ground floor, there are sash windows with glazing bars on either side of a recessed front door. The six-panelled front door is topped by a simple flat hood supported by heavy moulded brackets with balls at the ends. The door also features three-panel reveals and a fluted architrave. The rear wing is similar in character to the main house.
