Description
Village Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse that faces the road with its gable end. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble and features a thatched roof along with three brick stacks. The building has two storeys and attics, with stone-coped gables. On the east side, there are three recessed dormers covered with old clay tiles, three windows on the first floor, and four windows on the ground floor. The west side has four windows on each floor, and there are two windows in the south gable end. All windows are under timber lintels and are modern. There is a late 19th-century gabled porch hood supported by brackets. Inside, there is a substantial timber frame.
