Description
Tudor Rose Cottage is a cottage dating from around 1700, with later additions. It features a colour washed rough cast exterior over a timber frame for the two southern bays, while the northern bay is constructed of brick. The northern gable end and rear wing are also colour washed brick. The roof is made of old clay tiles and the building is arranged in an L-plan, with the front wing comprising three bays, one storey high with attics. The ground floor has three 20th-century casement windows, and there are 20th-century casements in the three gabled dormers above. The front door has six panels and is located under an open porch with a tiled roof. The two southern bays are set at a higher level than the later northern bay. There is one colour washed brick ridge stack at the division between the northern and central bays, and another colour washed brick external stack at the southern gable end. The rear wing features similar casement windows and dormers.
