Description
Nos. 50-52 on Church Lane are a terrace of cottages dating from 1705, as indicated by the datestone on the south gable apex. The cottages are constructed from coursed limestone rubble and feature thatched roofs. They are two storeys high with a stone-coped gable end on the south side and three chimneys. The front elevation facing the road has several casement windows with leaded lights. There is a single-storey outhouse with a pantiled roof on the northern gable end. Additionally, there is a modern stone and tiled extension at the south end, which is set forward of the original building line.
