Description
Odell Manor is a large house with origins dating back to the 17th or 18th century, which was extended in the 19th century. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble and features old clay tile roofs. The building has two storeys and attics, with a complex plan that includes a main block shaped like an H, along with a long side wing facing the driveway at right angles. The main block has a hipped roof, and the garden front features a central parapet with gables on either side. The house has two storeys, and the original 19th-century sash windows on the right side have been replaced with modern French windows. The left side of the central part includes a doorcase with Doric pilasters, an entablature, and an open pediment that encloses a fanlight. There is a modern flat-roofed extension on the right side. The courtyard front also displays gables on each side, with the right-hand gable hipped and both gables projecting forward. The building includes one box dormer and several casement and sash windows with glazing bars.
