Description

Nos 9 and 11 on Saint Mary's Street are early 19th-century buildings with a stucco front and three storeys. They feature channelled quoins and ground floor shops situated between four attached Ionic columns topped with an entablature. The first floor has four casement windows with pediments supported by pilasters, while the second floor has eaved architraves. The buildings are crowned with a modillion cornice, a blocking course, and a small pediment. A decorative anthemion balconette made of cast iron adds to the architectural detail.
