Description

Cropthorne Mill is a late 18th century or early 19th century brick building located in Cropthorne, projecting over the River Avon. It is a rectangular structure with two storeys and attics, featuring irregular gabled bays and tiled roofs. The upper storey is illuminated by modern small box-type bay windows, giving it a distinctive visual appeal. This site has historical significance as it was recorded as a mill in the Domesday Book, and the current mill was in continuous operation until 1930.
