Description

The Church of St Nicholas in Peopleton is a Grade II* listed building. It features a 13th-century chancel with a doorway and two lancet windows, but the majority of the church displays Decorated and Perpendicular architectural styles. The structure includes an engaged northeast chapel, a nave, a modern south porch, and a modern brick belfry tower. Although the beam of the roof screen is still present, it is not in its original position. There are also some remnants of 17th-century panelling at the east end and a 17th-century communion rail.
