Description

The Church of St Michael in Cropthorne is a Grade I listed building that showcases architectural styles from the Norman period to the Perpendicular style. It features an aisled and clerestoried nave with late 12th-century arcades, a south porch, and a west tower that has a 15th-century top. The chancel was rebuilt in 1894. Inside, the church contains a 9th-century cross and 17th-century monuments, as well as a fragment of wall painting located above the arcade.
