Description

The Old Bakery is a 17th-century house built from blue lias stone, featuring a modern plain tile roof and an L-shaped plan. It has one and a half storeys and a stone stack on the west end wall. Although all the windows are modern, the south side of the rear wing retains the head of a stone mullion window with a hood mould. The east front includes two 2-light windows on the ground floor and one 2-light window on the first floor. Inside, there is a large stopped and chamfered main beam and an inglenook in the rear range, along with smaller chamfered beams in the front rooms and two timber-framed partitions.
