Description

The Old Vicarage, dating from around 1700, is a regular two-storey house constructed of stone. It features five windows, including two plain wood mullioned and transomed casements, while three other windows have been blocked. The entrance has a six-panelled door, and there is a band course along the exterior. The building is accented with angle dressings and a moulded stone plinth. Additionally, there are stone mullion cellar windows. The roof is hipped and covered with old tiles, topped by two panelled brick chimney stacks. The Old Vicarage is part of a picturesque group of listed buildings along Hill Lane, including Price's Cottage, which enhances the charm of the hillside setting.
