Description
Sharrow is a 17th-century house built from blue lias stone, featuring plain tile roofs. The main part of the building is two stories with an attic, while there is a lower one-story section to the north that also has an attic. A brick chimney is located on the north end wall of the main range. The south gable end showcases a fine series of stone mullioned windows made of limestone, complete with hood moulds. There are five-light windows on both the ground and first floors, and a three-light window in the attic. Additionally, there is a similar five-light window on the first floor at the front. The mullions are hollow chamfered, and there is a pair of casement windows on the first floor front, which has a flat blue lias hood above it. The ground floor features a modern window and a hipped roof tiled porch. The north end has a door and a three-light casement window. Inside, there is a moulded wood beam above the main fireplace. The property also includes a modern rear extension.
