Description

The city wall, dating from the 14th century, is located approximately 27 meters east of Rack Alley in Worcester. It is constructed from dressed red sandstone but has been almost entirely refaced with brick from the 18th and 19th centuries, with some chamfered plinth stones still visible. The wall is also designated as a Scheduled Ancient Monument.
