Description
Palace Farm House is a late 17th century red brick farmhouse with a 19th century addition at the front. It features plain tile roofs and is two stories high with an attic. The house has gable ends and a truncated chimney stack at the rear. The original front has a three-window range, which is partially obscured at the east end by a single window range. The 19th century extension has doubled the east gable. There are brick bands on the original front and east gable, with segment heads on the windows and exposed box glazing bar sashes. A modern timber porch with a lead roof is situated between the ground floor windows, and there is a modern single-storey extension on the west side. At the rear, there is a lower timber-framed range with exposed timbers in the gable, and the interior features chamfered and stopped beams.
