Description

This is a barn located to the southeast of Baughton Court, dating from the early 17th century. It features a timber frame with red brick panels and a rubble stone base, topped with a gable-ended plain tile roof. The barn consists of four bays and has tie-beam-and-collar trusses with angle struts. There is a cart entrance on the north side, while a former entrance on the south side has been blocked. A small gabled wing is present on the north side. Additionally, a large former cruck beam has been used to brace the west end wall. Inside, there is a horse cider press that dates from the 18th century or earlier.
