Description

Barnards Green House is a mid-18th century building with earlier underlying fabric. It has a stuccoed front, a tile roof with a moulded eaves cornice, and rusticated quoins. The front facade features three arched casement windows. A stuccoed Tuscan porch with a pediment, modillion cornice, and channelled frieze extends along the inner face to incorporate side lights. A rear wing has a hipped roof and includes a three-light canted bay window and a recessed door. Three gables are dated 1635. The interior is reported to contain 17th-century panelling and an overmantel.
