Description

The Lye tomb, located 15 meters west of Saint Mary's Church in Longdon, is a chest tomb dating from the later 18th century, associated with W and A Lye. It is constructed of stone and features quarter baluster corners. The north side has a square panel with a fluted surround and a relief of clasped hands. The west end panel displays a relief of a bird above the WAL monogram.
