Townsend Mill is an 18th-century water mill located on Birmingham Road. It has a red brick structure with a slate roof featuring gable ends and an L-shaped plan. The building stands three storeys tall and includes 2-light casement windows with segmental arches. The machinery inside the mill is intact.
