Description
The base of a churchyard cross, likely from the 10th or 11th century, is located approximately 3 metres south of the south porch of the Church of St Mary in Wolverhampton. It is constructed from ashlar stone and features a round step with a worn surface, a plain round plinth, and the base of the shaft. There is a mortise in the top that may have been intended for a sundial.
