Description
The Bradburn Monument, located approximately 5 metres to the northeast of the Church of St Mary, is a memorial dedicated to members of the Bradburn family. It was constructed in the 1830s by Jarrat of Wolverhampton and is made of ashlar stone. The monument features an eclectic Classical style, primarily reflecting Greek Revival elements. It has a square base on a moulded plinth, with round-headed inscription panels and naive Ionic three-quarter columns. The design includes a deep entablature adorned with an anthemion and palmette frieze, a cornice with nailhead mouldings, and is topped with a flaming urn.
