Description
The Hordern Tomb, located approximately 5 meters south of the Church of St Mary, is a chest tomb dedicated to members of the Hordern family and dates from 1813. It is constructed of ashlar stone. The tomb features inscription panels on the sides with quadrants at the corners, fielded panels at the ends, and a moulded edge surrounding the faceted top. Busts of James and Jane Hordern can be found in the Hordern chapel of the Church of St Mary.
