Description
Canterbury House is a late 17th century or early 18th century red brick house located on the north side of Duggins Lane. It features a hipped machine tiled roof with a moulded cornice and three hipped dormers. The building is two storeys high with attics and has a corbelled brick band at the first floor level. There are three nearly flush casement windows that include wood mullions and transoms, with flat arches and keystones above them. The central doorway consists of a six fielded panelled door topped by an oblong fanlight with glazing bars. This entrance is framed by Doric pilasters, an entablature, and a pediment.
