Description

The Lodge is a house dating to circa 1870, designed by W E Nesfield in a picturesque vernacular style. It is constructed of red brick with a tiled roof, and a tile-hung gable facing the road. The house is one storey high with attics, featuring casement windows, some with stone dressings. A first-floor oriel window is located on the front facing the drive. Tall red brick chimneystacks are present. The Lodge, together with the Hampton Manor Garden Terrace Walls and Steps, Hampton Manor Manor Cottage, and No 37, form a group of buildings of group value.
