Description
Dovehouse Farmhouse is a building dating from around 1500. It features an exposed timber frame on the main south front and the west side elevation. The farmhouse has two storeys with an oversailing first floor and a gable on the left. The roof is covered with old tiles and has ornamental shafts on the brick chimney breast on the west side. The windows are leaded casements. The east wing was refaced in brick during the 18th century. The back elevation also has exposed timber framing with curved braces at the center and a blocked original window on the upper floor. Additionally, there is a timber-framed north wing that dates from the 16th or 17th century.
