Description

The Meriden Hotel is a late 18th-century red brick house with a hipped roof covered in old tiles. It is two storeys high and has three sash windows on the first floor, each with a painted flat arch above. A bay window was later added to the left side of the ground floor. The central entrance features a half-glazed, three-panel door set within a stone surround consisting of Doric pilasters, entablature, and a pediment. It possesses group value from its contribution to the character of the area.
