Description
No. 63 Vale Street is an early 19th-century building, with its core likely dating back to the 18th century. It stands alongside No. 65 as part of two parallel ranges and may have originally been the rear section of a single dwelling that was later divided and altered. The building is constructed from Gornal stone and features two storeys with two sash windows, the lower ones having channelled lintels. There is a plain doorway at the center, which includes a small weather hood and a ledged door. The building has coped gabled ends, coved stone eaves, and a slate roof. Nos. 63 and 65, along with Ruiton Windmill, form a group.
