Description
No. 65 Vale Street is a 18th-century building that, along with No. 63, originally formed a single dwelling, with No. 65 being the front portion. The building has undergone extensive modern alterations. It features painted stone and brick, is two storeys high, and has been extended by one bay to the right. There are three modern casement windows and stone quoins, which are painted black, on the left-hand side. The original doorway is flanked by three-quarter round Tuscan pilasters and has a modern door. A modern loggia covers the ground storey and is supported by fibreglass Tuscan-style columns. Additionally, there is a modern bay window on the right. This building is included for its group value with Nos. 63 and 65 and Ruiton Windmill.
