Description
199 Wolverhampton Street is a mid-19th century building constructed of red brick and stone. It features two storeys and an attic, with slightly projecting side bays. The façade includes three sash windows set within moulded stone architraves, each topped with cornices, and the central window has a segmental pediment. The ground storey is rusticated stone, with semi-circular stone heads above the windows and doorway, all adorned with voluted keyblocks. A floor band runs along the building, and there is a moulded stone eaves cornice supported by console brackets. The roof has two semi-circular headed dormers, which are flanked by a parapet and balustrade, and is covered with slates. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 193 to 200 (consecutive) and No 200A, as well as Nos 1 and 2 County Court and Nos 3A and 4 to 7 Priory Street.
