The cemetery gateway and screen, built in the mid-19th century, showcases an Italianate style and is constructed from sandstone. It features gate piers with fielded panels that are topped with caps resembling hipped pantiled roofs. The arcaded screen walls include two piers that support urns, and the arcade rises to meet the lodge. This structure is part of a group of listed buildings within the cemetery.
