Description

The Coach House to The Charterhouse dates from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It is built of ashlar stone and features a nipped old tiled roof with a central gable at the front. The building has two storeys and a slight central projection, with a window arrangement of 1:2:1. The ground floor includes a small central doorway flanked by two large blocked doorways. This coach house, along with the Medieval Precinct Wall, forms a group with The Charterhouse.
