Description

The Cottage, formerly known as Coat of Arms Bridge Cottage, dates from the 17th century. It features a timber frame with whitewashed brick nogging and a tiled roof that has half hipped gables. The building is one storey high with attics and includes two flush casement windows with glazing bars, as well as an attic window in the side gable. There is a cut bracketed doorhood above the entrance. Additionally, there is a single storey brick addition to the side, which has a pentice roof.
