Description

Stone House is an early 16th century building constructed of sandstone with an old tiled roof. It has two storeys and features two double light stone mullioned casement windows on the ground floor, while the first floor has modern casement windows. Originally, the house included a spiral stone staircase, but the stone treads and risers have since been removed. This building is associated with the Vesey cottages and is referenced in Chatwin and Harcourt's work, "The Bishop Vesey Houses," on pages 14-15.
