Description

This is an earlier 16th-century house, one of the Bishop Vesey houses. The building is constructed of sandstone and has an old tiled roof. It is a two-storey structure with three casement windows, each set beneath a lintel. A four-centred arched doorway provides entry. A buttressed chimneystack is a prominent feature. Inside, a stone newel staircase is present. The house is documented in Chatwin and Harcourt’s The Bishop Vesey Houses, pages 10-11.
