Description

This is a pottery or tile kiln located about 100 metres west-southwest of Foxhill, dating from the 19th century. It is constructed from red brick in English garden wall bond and has a circular, bee-hive shape with openings at the base on the south and west sides. It is believed to have been built around 1830 for the production of clay tiles or pottery.
