Description

The Ionic Pavilion at Ashfurlong Hall is a single-storey structure dating from the 18th century. Originally fronted by Old Moore Hall, it features a tetrastyle Roman Ionic portico with an entablature and a blocking course. The pavilion has a square plan and consists of one room. It includes a two-fold tall door that is two-thirds glazed and is topped by a small lead dome with a ball finial. The building is constructed of ashlar stone.
