Description
Sheldon Hall is an early 16th-century building that was extended around 1600. It is primarily made of brick and features an old tile roof. The structure has two storeys and consists of four bays, with the outer bays being advanced and gabled, each containing an attic storey. The left outer bay includes a segment-headed entrance porch. All windows are transomed and mullioned; the two central bays have three-light windows, while the outer bays have four-light windows, except for the attic storey where they are three-light. At the rear, there is one single and a group of four star-shaped brick chimneys. To the left of the main structure, there is a gabled bay that is roughcast and has a slightly projecting gable, with both floors featuring four-light transomed windows, all framed in oak. To the right of the core, there are two bays similar to those on the left, with the left bay being slightly broader than the right. Both the left and right returns have groups of star-shaped brick chimneys.
