Description

The monument, located to the south of the Church of St Nicholas and facing The Green in Kings Norton, dates from around 1770. It is made of stone and features a tall base with unfluted Corinthian columns at each of its four corners, which support a finely dentilled entablature. At the top, there is a large urn. The only two inscriptions that are currently legible commemorate Ann Middlemore, who passed away in 1873, and Martha Middlemore, who died in 1876.
