Description
Nos 82, 83, and 84 on Moseley Street are a three-storey block built around 1820-1830, originally designed for domestic and workshop use. The building is constructed of painted red brick, except for a 20th-century tiled plinth. It features an eaves band and a slate roof with coped gable ends.
The upper floors have a total of seven windows, with flush framed glazing bar sashes on the first floor, which are adorned with grooved and keyed flat stucco arches. The second floor has square windows that have later metal casements. On the ground floor, there are three high-set, coupled, flush framed windows that retain glazing bars on the upper sashes, also featuring segmental grooved and keyed stucco arches. In the centre of the ground floor, there is a hatchway under a segmental arch. To the left, there is a former house door framed by a broad stucco surround, which includes scrolled and moulded consoles supporting a shallow cornice hood. To the right, there is a modern works entrance.
