Description
The engineering works building, located approximately 5 meters west of Lock 21 on the Stratford-upon-Avon Canal, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of purple brick and features old plain-tile roofs that are gabled at both ends. The building is single-storey and consists of a main range with three bays, along with a subsidiary range to the left that has two bays.
The main range has segmental-headed double plank doors leading to segmental-arched doorways at the center, as well as to the right of the subsidiary range. These doorways include impost blocks and keystones. There are also plank doors with segmental brick heads located to the right of the main range and to the left of the subsidiary range. The windows exhibit an irregular arrangement of casements. The interior has not been inspected.
