Description

The properties at 77 and 79 Coten End date to the earlier 19th century. They are stucco-faced buildings with a low-pitched roof hidden behind a parapet incorporating an entablature. The central projection is three storeys high and features a 1:2:1 arrangement of sash windows with glazing bars, set in reveals. The central windows are framed by architrave and archivolt surrounds, with the first-floor windows being arched. A six-panel door, centrally located on the left side, is set within an architrave surround and is topped by an oblong fanlight. A canted bay window extends from the right side of the ground floor. A first-floor band runs along the building's facade. Nos 73 to 79 (odd) are designated as a group.
