Stanford House is a two-storey building exhibiting Tudor and Renaissance detailing, dating to the 18th century. The south-west front is characterised by two gables, each topped with finials and decorative bargeboards. Round panels are set within moulded surrounds above the first-floor casement windows, which are also protected by dripmoulds. The ground floor features canted bays.
