Description
The Pavilion is a detached town garden structure located in Hill Close Gardens, Warwick. It was built between 1846 and 1866 and is constructed of red brick with a hipped plain tile roof. The building has a small, single-cell hexagonal plan and features a doorway on the west side, which includes a plank door, along with large six-pane windows on the flanking sides. Inside, most of the wall and ceiling plaster has been removed, and there is a small fireplace in the rear wall. Hill Close Gardens were established around 1846 as pleasure garden allotments, and by 1877, there were 37 garden plots designed as detached gardens for townhouses without gardens.
