Description

The entrance forecourt wall, located approximately 10 metres southeast of Wroxall Abbey Hotel, was built around 1866 by Walter Scott of Liverpool for James Dugdale. It is constructed from stone ashlar and features pierced quatrefoils in the balustrade along with moulded stone coping. This wall is one of three sections that make up the entrance forecourt, with this being the southern portion. It is included in the listing for its group value.
