Description
The formal garden retaining walls and steps, located approximately 40 metres south of Wroxall Abbey Hotel, were built around 1866 by Walter Scott of Liverpool for James Dugdale. They are constructed of stone and feature pierced cusped balustrades. The stone winder steps lead to a central platform, forming the boundary of the formal garden to the south of the main building. This structure is included for its group value.
