Description

No.4, Guild Street is a town house dating to 1846-7. It is constructed of brick with buff brick headers and stucco dressings, with a slate roof and brick end stacks. The house is arranged in an L-plan and built in a Georgian style. The two-storey, symmetrical facade has three windows. A wide eaves soffit is present. The front entrance features a moulded doorcase with angle paterae, a frieze, and a cornice, above a four-panel door with an overlight containing margin lights. The windows have sills and rusticated wedge lintels with keys over 12-pane sashes. A gabled wing is located to the rear.
